Emily Henochowicz and the Gaza protest

If you haven't heard, Henochowicz lost an eye in the Gaza protest. The granddaughter of a holocaust survivor, she was protesting Israel's blockade of Gaza.

After losing the eye, she drew a black and white art pattern over the part of her glasses that covers her injured eye.

I've gotta tip my hat to her, not only for speaking her mind but also for looking on the bright side of the seemingly bleak situation.

In her words: "It could have been a lot worse"

You go girl!
