Dush Boyfriend.

These are all true characteristics taken from one of my friend’s (now ex) boyfriend. I’m not even joking. It’s unreal how “normal” this shit is. I didn’t find out about half of this stuff until after it had already happened. And... you should have seen my reaction after I heard about it. Went balistic. If I'd met him in the street, I'm pretty sure I would have punched him in the face.

So anyways... here's the list:

1. He refuses to wear a condom because he “doesn’t believe in them.” Instead, leaves her to deal with the consequences and pay for birth control.

2. Cheats on her. Tells her they can go back to the way things were and pretend it didn’t happen.

3. Calls her a bitch behind closed doors.

4. Has sex with her when she’s drunk and doesn’t want it. When she confronts him in the morning, he says it was “no big deal” because she was drunk.

5. Tells her to send him naked pictures. After she sends one, he has the nerve to tell her it isn’t “slutty enough.”

6. Blames everything on the fact that he was drunk. Or on the fact he can’t afford school right now. Nice excuse, buddy.

My 2 cents:
I think I can sum him up in 2 words: ASS-HOLE.

I’ll let a guy not “believe” in condoms when he’s the one dealing with an STD or pregnancy. I don’t understand how you can look yourself in the mirror and be happy with yourself after doing half of this shit.

And to number 4 on the list: rape. Almost impossible to prove in that situation, but it is rape. I can’t tell you how often this happens on college campuses amidst all the heavy partying. Girls, drink smart please.

No one deserves this kind of treatment, not anyone. If you find yourself in a similar situation, dump his/her ass. Or, if you’re afraid to do that seek help at a local woman’s center. Call the police and get a restraining order. You deserve so much better. End of story.
